NEW YORK, NY, US, August 5, 2022 / – The Genius 100 Foundation (G100) celebrates extraordinary new achievements within its vibrant community of global leaders focused on social impact.

The Miami Symphony Orchestra has named the Official Symphony Orchestra of the City of Miami

The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), conducted by Genius 100 Visionary Maestro Eduardo Marturet, has been named the Official Symphony Orchestra of the City of Miami by Mayor Francis Suarez. “For 34 years, the Symphony has been around, and this is its greatest moment. On behalf of our President Rafael Diaz-Balart, the Board of Directors, the Advisory Board, the staff, and the members of the Symphony, I thank you, your staff, and the Commissioners, for this wonderful honor.” Genius 100 Visionary Maestro Eduardo Marturet after receiving this great honor.

Marturet, known worldwide for his brilliant installations and unique collaborations, became Genius 100 Visionary in 2019. His induction party was held in Miami where he was honored by the community and additional special guest from Japan astronaut Soichi Noguchi.

Upon joining this illustrious group chosen to honor the 100th anniversary of Einstein’s theory of relativity, he met fellow Genius 100 Visionary Dr. electric guitar.

Planet 9 Opus 3 heard from the International Space Station

When it came time for the 2021 Genius 100 Visionary induction party for astronaut Noguchi, it was fitting that Planet 9 Opus 3 be the music theme for the event. To make it even more special, Genius 100, in collaboration with NASA and JAXA, held the event live from the International Space Station in March 2021, while Noguchi was in orbit on SpaceX’s Crew Dragon-1 flight.

Planet 9 and Opus 3 were released on all streaming platforms on April 14, 2022, including Spotify and Itunes.

Genius 100 . celebrates
Earlier this year, the Genius 100 welcomed Goldie Hawn as the 2022 Genius 100 Visionary Community, in honor of the late Genius 100 Visionary Sir Ken Robinson. Hawn follows in the footsteps of Batygin, Martoret, and Noguchi.

Marturet, as Music Director of the G100, performed the world premiere of the new version of Canto LLano 3, which he composed. Later in the program, the world premiere of Dr. Santiago Bonora’s Cool Quartz, written explicitly for the G100 induction party and dedicated to Mrs. Hawn, was shown.
